Employment policy in times of economic crisis (2008 - 2010)

In my thesis, I focused on the issue of employment policy in times of economic crisis in 2008 - 2010. I examined what recommendations and measures have been implemented in this area at EU level and in which documents they were involved. After analyzing the European steps I studied the situation in the Czech Republic, as an example of an EU Member State. I looked for, what measures have been taken to promote employment and eliminate unemployment. I also watched how the Czech measures were linked to European steps. When writing, I progressed according to analysis of the documents described in book about qualitative research methods written by Hendl. First, I defined the research questions, and then I defined what I consider as a document. When I have found a certain amount of documents I chose those that were relevant to my theme until I came to the default number of documents useful for my work. After analyzing the documents I have come to the fact that all actions of Member States are in line with priorities defined at EU level. Therefore, all measures to promote employment, which were realised in the Czech Republic and other Member States, followed the steps taken at EU level. Administration of labour policy in the relation to people with disabilities in the Czech Republic

The thesis "Administration of labour policy in the relation to people with disabilities in the Czech Republic" presents the actual usage of labour policy instruments in supporting employment of people with disabilities in practice. It analyses limitations of the handicapped which are caused by physical and mental disabilities, their right to work and labour policy instruments providing employment support to people with disabilities and practical usage of these instruments based on the statistical information in the theoretical part. Research is focused on finding out whether and in which aspects do the needs of people with disabilities while looking for a job and the needs of employers coinside with the support provided by labour offices in Benešov and Česká Lípa districts."

Basic Income and its possible implementation in the Czech Republic

This diploma thesis deals with the concept of (unconditional) basic income as a policy instrument and the conditions, costs and possible consequences of its full or partial implementation in the Czech Republic. The first aim of the diploma thesis is to describe this concept, which is still rather unknow in the Czech Republic, and put it into the context of Public and Social Policy. The diploma thesis decribes its alternative models, which are - in certain extent - interchangeable with it as well as the praxis of the basic income in the world The author tries to identify the main problems within the system of today's social policy and with respect to them put forward the main reason for the implementation of the basic income in the Czech Republic. Position handicaped people at the job market of the Pisek region

The name of my dissertation, consequently The Position of the Handicapped Persons on the Employment Market in the Písek´s Region indicates that the authoress occupies with the employment rate problems of group of these persons. Not only the authoress practical experiences have caused that she has chosen this subject-matter but the topicality of this subject-matter in itself. The handicapped persons belong into the group of risky persons which are more endangered by unemployement that is why is suitable to devote them to a large extent the protection and care. The dissertation has aim to map out the position of the handicapped persons on the labour market in the Písek´s region by means of the theoretical and practical researching of two chosen instruments exploited by the Employment Agency (Labour Office) in Písek during work with this target group the counseling program of The civic society MESADA and physiotheraphy. Part of work is a proposition of sociotechnical reccomendations for improvement in the quality of mentioned procedures in the concrete conditions of the Employment Agency in Písek and MESADA too. The theoretical part passes from the explanation of basic conceptions of the given issues to description of two concrete instruments exploited for the work with handicapped persons counseling program and physiotheraphy and at the same time it describes the civic society MESADA and Labour Office in Písek. The practical part is introduced by the short characteristics of the Písek´s region from the point of view both the general unemployment and from the point of view of portion of the handicapped persons on the total unemployment (joblessness). The results of research are summarized in the graphic form or table graphs which took place in the form of questionning with the technique of structural interview. The structural review was realized with 10 persons which participated in the physiotheraphy in the year of 2008 and with 31 persons which were undergoing the counseling program from 2004 to 2008.

Determinants of Japan`s foreign policy in the 21st century

The aim of this thesis is to analyze Japan`s foreign policy in the first ten years of the 21st century. The basis for the analysis is the development of Japan`s foreign policy since the end of the World War II until present. The analysis of Japan`s foreign policy takes place on several levels; the author of the thesis examines factors and events that have major impact on Japan`s foreign policy. At the end of the thesis, the author formulates both general as well as specific determinants of Japan`s foreign policy in the 21st century and evaluates the shift in the foreign policy compared to the post-war development.

SELinux security policies for chosen applications of KDE desktop environment

This thesis deals with technologies of SELinux security policy writing. Furthermore the thesis analyzes userspace of GNU/Linux operating system with special focus on KDE desktop environment. On the basis of this analysis a bottom-up methodics to create a security policy is devised. Acquired knowledge is then used in practice when realizing the main goal of the thesis, which is to create example security policies for chosen KDE applications. When describing technologies of security policy writing the thesis draws information from available sources of information. Input for userspace analysis are available electronic sources of information and author's own experience with analyzed applications. This is used with common philosophic principles to devise bottom-up methodics of policy writting. Following act of policy building draws from defined security goals, acquired knowledge, created methodics and defined usecases. Theoretical contribution of the thesis is devised methodics of userspace policy building. Main practical contribution are then created example SELinux policies for chosen KDE applications. The structure of the thesis follows its goals. For them three parts are created: background research of available resources, author's own theoretical contemplations and practical output of the thesis. Those parts are then devided into sections according to needs of each topic.

Common Agricultural Policy of the European Union and its future

This bachelor thesis is focused on Common agricultural policy of the European Union.It is studiyng the Common Agricultural Policy of the European Union regarding to its planned reform which is going to be applied from 2014. At first the thesis descirbes the most important moments in the development of this policy, its actual form and problems, which it has in the present. Then the thesis finds out for which states and types of agricultural enterprises is the current system profitable. Afterwards it analyzes the opinions of the participants, who will take part in making decision of the reform of the Common agricultural policy. These participants are member states of the European Union and fraction of the European parliament. Based on their opinions on changes of the Common agricultural policy the thesis estimates the result of the vote of planned reform.
